Las Vegas became Hollywood’s backyard playground over the Memorial Day weekend, with Tinseltown and sports stars everywhere you turned. Our contributing photographers and spywitnesses were busy around the clock covering the nonstop action for the rundown of parties, pool action and performances.
George Maloof’s Palms buzzed with famous faces including Jersey Shore’s Paul Delvecchio, aka DJ Pauly D, who also went into the kitchen at N9NE Steakhouse for two consecutive nights to do shots with executive chef Barry Dakake. Others stars at N9NE included actress Keshia Knight-Pulliam, Tennessee Titans’ Damian Williams, Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Gerald McCoy with 11 guests, hockey legend Gordie Howe with 10 friends, Clinton Portis of the Washington Redskins, UFC fighter Clay Guida, MMA fighter Randy Couture, Oakland Raiders’ Langston Walker and New York Jets’ Dustin Keller and Darelle Revis. Loyal VDLX reader Richard Corey posted his videos of Pauly on YouTube.
Upstairs at Nove Italiano: Clinton again, MMA fighter Diego Sanchez and Shar Jackson with five guests. Pauly also dined there and posed for photographs with fans. Pauly was spotted tanning at the Palms Pool, partying at Rain and enjoying brunch at High Society during his visit. Also at High Society: Dustin Keller, Dallas Cowboys’ Anthony Spencer, Tennessee Titans’ Stanford Keglar, Pittsburgh Steelers’ Eugene Bright and Seattle Seahawks’ Anthony Heygood.
At Moon, Chuy Bravo partied at a VIP table with six friends, and Carolina Panthers’ Jonathan Stewart and Dwayne Jarrett enjoyed cocktails with eight friends at a VIP table. Minnesota Vikings’ Toby Gerhart and pro poker player Antonio Esfandiari partied at Ghostbar.
Rain was packed to capacity for DJ Z-Trip’s Revolution party and DJ Paul Oakenfold’s Perfecto bash, and the crowd included Pauly D, Tara Reid, Pittsburgh Steelers’ Bryant McFadden, Willie Johnson Jr. and Casey Hampton Jr. and Arizona Cardinals’ Julian Rashad Johnson with 20 friends in a cabana.
The Palms Pool & Bungalows was a popular dayspot, and singer Jason Derulo hit the stage for his hits “Whatcha Say” and “In My Head.” Pauly also spun for three hours, and singer Keri Hilson had a cabana with eight friends. Hip-hop artist Baby Bash hung out onstage near the DJ booth and performed a two-song set, which included his hit “Cyclone.” Also at Palms Pool: Clinton Portis in a cabana with six lady friends, Green Bay Packers’ Nicholas Collins, Chicago Bears’ Julius Peppers, Oakland Raiders’ Michael Bush, Isaiah Ekejiuba and Jerry Porter and Tara Reid, who hung out onstage for Jason and Baby Bash’s performances.
