In a short 48-hour window, Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria Parker will throw two star-studded Las Vegas parties and wind up face to face with herself. The fun starts tonight at her glamorous nightclub Eve in MGM CityCenter’s Crystals. Some of her pals, Hollywood’s hottest celebrities, are jetting in to show their support for the World Hunger Relief benefit.

In fact, plans call for Dancing With the Stars beauty Karina Smirnoff to make a mad dash the split second the live ABC telecast ends at 7 p.m. A private plane is on standby at 7:30 to fly her here by 8:30, and she expects to arrive at CityCenter no later than 9.

One hour earlier, the other celebrities expected on the red carpet for Eva’s welcome include former Miss USA and actress Ali Landry, White Collar actress Tiffani Thiessen, Chelsea Lately comedienne Heather McDonald, Till Death star Joely Fisher, Football Wives beauty Pilar Sanders, Jennifer Bunney from The Hills, former NFL and MLB star Deion Sanders, designer Lonni Paul, plus a beauty bunch and model mob!

It’s all for the 4th Annual World Hunger Relief campaign, the world’s largest private-sector hunger relief effort in more than 110 countries, and with 1 million employees from Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, KFC and A&W joining the effort. Eva’s friend singer Christina Aguilera, who is the global spokeswoman, leads the effort. In the past three years, more than $60 million has been raised providing 250 million meals to millions of people.

Then to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month, Madame Tussauds will immortalize Eva in wax on Wednesday, and she’ll see eye to eye with herself as she unveils her double at Eve. I’m told that the wax figure, which cost $300,000 to make in 6 months, will be dressed in the original red one-shoulder Carolina Herrera dress she wore to the Alma Awards in 2008 complete with a replica of her Possession wedding band. That original ring, designed by Piaget, is adorned with two rows of 80 brilliant-cut diamonds separated by a row of 27 square-cut diamonds.

Eva will celebrate with a private dinner at her restaurant Beso and then go upstairs for the unveiling at the stroke of midnight. Rosita Chapman, general manager of Madame Tussauds Las Vegas, said: “We are thrilled to add her to our attraction. As one of the premiere figures in the entertainment industry, Eva is a beloved performer, philanthropist and spokesperson. She is an outstanding role model, especially within the Hispanic charitable community.”

Eva founded the nonprofit Eva’s Heroes, which helps developmentally challenged children and young adults integrate and flourish in society. She’s also the national spokeswoman for PADRES Contra El Cancer, which improves the quality of life for Latino children with cancer. She and French husband and San Antonio Spurs star Tony Parker have an active role in Make A Wish France, and she is helping raise funds to rebuild homes in earthquake-torn Haiti as spokeswoman for Home in Haiti. She has been named Philanthropist of the Year and has received numerous Excellence and Legacy Awards for her charitable work.

In addition to her own fragrance Eva by Eva Longoria, Eva is publishing her cookbook Eva’s Kitchen in the spring. Vegas DeLuxe will tweet from both parties and have the overnight reports here with photographs and video. Her wax figure will be safely moved Thursday to Madame Tussauds, where it will stand alongside figures including Gwen Stefani, Chuck Liddell and President Obama in The Oval Office Experience.
