The late Michael Jackson’s dream of a talent search club in Las Vegas is about to come true. In a partnership with Las Vegas dealmaker Jack Wishna, Michael partnered with an Internet talent search worldwide in, which went live yesterday. It’s described as a social music network with plans to develop artists and promote record distribution for them.

Jack told Reuters that his company RockRena is anxious to give musicians their big break without waiting to get on X Factor or American Idol. “It’s to create tomorrow’s music stars rather than just have them get noticed,” he said. “Everyone looks at discovering talent from what they see -- American Idol, X Factor, The Voice, MySpace, YouTube. It’s crowded and like looking for a needle in the haystack. What we do is take care of the haystack.”

Jack, who partnered with Michael when The King of Pop was in Ireland to bring him back to Las Vegas and brokered his concert appearances here, previously said that once the site is running, it will become a real bricks and mortar venue -- with artists streaming live shows from George Maloof’s Palms, where they will compete for a performance contract.

“There are a lot of firms who do a little of what we do, but there’s not one firm that does everything we do. We took a broken model, found ways to fix it and enhance the experience for the artists and the fans,” Jack said. Talent can audition online from anywhere on the planet, then be evaluated, developed and marketed by Jack’s “Producers Circle,” who’ve powered the careers of such mega-stars as Bruce Springsteen, Madonna and Justin Timberlake.

“Our producers and songwriters have won a whopping 120 Grammy Awards among them. We’re going to dominate the undiscovered talent marketplace. I just wish Michael was here to see his dream become reality,” Jack concluded.
