Pop princess Stacy Ann Ferguson, better known around the world as Fergie of The Black Eyed Peas, has been immortalized in wax, and she’ll unveil her figure for the first time today at Madame Tussauds at the Venetian. The $300,000 iconic, lifelike double joins more than 100 other celebrities from the worlds of music, film, television, sports and politics, including President Barack Obama.

With this honor, Fergie truly has become “rich and famous,” and thus my perfect excuse to post her video with Ludacris of her hit “Glamorous,” where the duo gave a tip of the hat to yours truly. Fergie has always told me to blame Ludacris for any misuse of my name, but I’ve assured her that I take it as a compliment!

We’ll chat with the 36-year-old knockout born in Hacienda Heights, Calif., at this evening’s unveiling. “The Duchess,” who has appeared in 10 TV shows and 10 movies since starting out in showbiz in 1984, has won American Music Awards and Grammys and has racked up six Top 10 solo hits, plus the numerous smashes with The Black Eyed Peas.

It’s expected that BEP mates Will.I.Am and Apl.De.Ap will watch her unveil the wax figure, along with actor-husband Josh Duhamel, whom she married in January 2009 after five years of dating

Check back tomorrow for our overnight photos, video and report of the Fergalicious experience. Fergie and The Black Eyed Peas are appearing with Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, Alicia Keys, Carrie Underwood, Jay-Z and other music stars at this weekend’s two-day iHeartRadio music festival at MGM Grand Garden Arena to launch the Clear Channel radio app providing access to 850 stations across America for iPhones, iPads and Androids at what’s being billed as “the biggest live event in radio history.”
