No abs were on display, at least not on the dance floor.
2012 London Summer Olympics gold medalists Ryan Lochte and Cullen Jones celebrated their victories at Tao in the Venetian on Thursday night. The two athletes started their night with dinner at the popular restaurant.
Post-dinner, Lochte, probably the breakout heartthrob of the recently ended Olympics in the British capital, made his way upstairs to the nightclub for the weekly party Worship Thursdays, where he was mobbed by fans and cell phone cameras.
Shortly upon arrival, Lochte, who had his two London gold medals around his neck for photographers and fans, received a presentation that included Tao’s bottle fairy flying through the air with an American flag and Tao’s waitresses cheering around him in USA-themed outfits. Lochte is an 11-time Olympic medalist; he added two golds, two silvers and a bronze in London to his haul.
Lochte’s not done partying yet in the Entertainment Capital of the World; he’s set to appear at Azure Luxury Pool at sister property the Palazzo on Saturday. Fingers crossed that he’ll be shirtless. Please! Thanks to Al Powers of Powers Imagery for his photos of the Olympic champions.
