Las Vegas has a number of tasty candy shops to purchase delicious treats and a wide variety of restaurants serving up aphrodisiac-inspired meals to make your Valentine’s Day a special event.

Simon at Palms Place offers a four-course prix fixe menu from 6-11 p.m. on Valentine’s Day for $75 per person. The menu includes a choice of a trio of oysters or oven-roasted asparagus followed by a choice of a salad of hearts with hearts of palm and artichoke or a crab salad with shaved fennel. The main course is a choice of osso buco, poached lobster or the surf and turf which is an additional $10. Frankie Moreno

The Stratosphere offers up a special dinner and show combination in its showroom. Dine on food from the Top of the World restaurant, which will be served in the showroom, then enjoy the music of Frankie Moreno and his ten-piece band. The menu starts off with a Love Puff featuring shrimp and scallops or chicken and artichoke in a heart-shaped puff pastry with béchamel sauce. Next is an iceberg wedge salad with nueske bacon and maytag blue cheese. Entrée options include filet mignon oven roasted free-range chicken with white truffle oil or pan seared organic salmon with shitake mushrooms and lemongrass beurre blanc. A Chocolate Fantasy dessert completes the meal. Throughout the meal, the film Casablanca will air on screens throughout the showroom. The price of the dinner and show is $119 per person. Morels at The Palazzo offers a four-course prix fixe dinner featuring crab salad on a potato crisp, Boggiato Farms baby iceberg salad and grilled filet mignon with Maine lobster tail. Comme Ca at The Cosmopolitan offers a prix fixe menu featuring a salad of hearts of roasted beets, seared scallops, Osetra caviar, lobster thermidor and beef wellington. Sushisamba at the Palazzo offers a menu featuring chilled seasonal oysters with American caviar, tomato-yuzu sorvete and red shiso, Maine lobster goyza and robata filet mignon. The Country Club at Wynn offers up the Aphrodisiac Menu with a selection of aphrodisiac favorites like chilled oysters, house-smoked salmon parfait with a caviar cube, pan-roasted sea scallops and grilled filet mignon. Dessert is a chocolate fondue for two with strawberries, raspberries, pineapple, port-macerated figs and vanilla macaroons.
