Marirose Roach, left, of the Philadelphia Passion puts the pressure on quarterback Ashley Salerno of the Los Angeles Temptation during the Lingerie Bowl VIII at the Thomas & Mack Center Sunday, Feb. 6, 2011. The event was a pay-per-view show that could be ordered at half-time of Super Bowl XLV. The Las Vegas Sin, an expansion team, will join the Lingerie Football League this fall. Launch slideshow »

Motley Crue and Kia

Forget Indianapolis this Super Bowl Sunday because the action will be right here in Las Vegas with MTV2’s live coverage of Lingerie Bowl IX from Orleans Arena. The official party destination off the gridiron, however, is the Hard Rock Hotel as fans root for defending champion L.A. Temptation and the Philadelphia Passion, who meet in the big game once again. The Temptation won last year in a 26-25 nail-biter.

Add in the fact that it coincides with the start of Motley Crue’s mini-residency at the Joint, and you just know it will be all about “Girls, Girls, Girls.” Don’t be surprised if you see Vince Neil, Tommy Lee, Nikki Sixx and Mick Mars taking sides in the West Coast vs. East Coast battle.

The annual Lingerie Bowl broadcast has become a part of the culture of Super Bowl Sunday for millions on television and thousands in attendance at the media and celebrity-driven events. The weekend-long partying at the Hard Rock starts Friday with the Lingerie Bowl IX official kickoff party “Leather & Lace,” followed by a mega-Super Bowl Sunday series of events, including a “Big Game” viewing party hosted by Lingerie Football League models, as well as the official Lingerie Bowl IX after-party “Football After Dark.”

MTV hip-hop artist Midi Mafia, whose hit album is titled “Vegas Lights,” is scheduled for a midnight performance at the Lingerie Bowl IX after-party. Here’s the official Royal Robin Rundown:

FRIDAY, FEB. 3, 2012: Lingerie Bowl IX Official Kickoff Party “Leather & Lace” at Vanity and the Hard Rock, with 10 p.m. green carpet arrivals.

SUNDAY, FEB. 5, 2012: LFL-hosted Super Bowl XLVI Viewing Party with a special halftime screening of Lingerie Bowl IX at the Joint. 3-7 p.m. Then it’s the Lingerie Bowl IX Official After-Party “Concussion” at Vanity, with 10 p.m. green carpet arrivals.

Incidentally, I can reveal that when the curtain goes up on Motley Crue’s debut show Friday, fans will be dazzled by a new show complete with numerous skimpy, shapely dancers assembled onstage akin to a music video that’s come to life -- with the hot, sexy beauties in the briefest of barely-legal outfits. That’s the inside word!

Also watch for the Crue and “Kick Start My Heart” in the Kia “drive the dream” 60-second spot to launch its 2012 Optima Limited. UFC legend and Las Vegas resident Chuck Liddell and supermodel Adriana Lima also are in the spot with MMA Octagon action. Plus, check out the new car commercials you’ll see during Sunday’s action.
