It’s Hump Day, and we have a few …

On Dec. 4, 1956, Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash and Jerry Lee Lewis had a by-chance impromptu jam session in Memphis at Sun Recording Studios. It made history, and now more than 60 years later, that super group inspired a Broadway musical,“Million Dollar Quartet,” which closes June 24.

The touring show has a six-night run at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts starting Tuesday, but the date overlap begs the question as to what happens with the Manhattan cast. The rumor mill cranked up Tuesday night that “Legends in Concert” at Harrah’s, the longest-running celebrity tribute show in the world, will end its run there after debuting on the Strip at Imperial Palace in 1983.

The celebrity lookalikes have dates through Sept. 30, but the racy rumor is that “Quartet” will take over in October. It’s a wild scenario but part of the ever-juggling Strip musical theater scene as evidenced in our interview with “Rock of Ages” and “Surf: The Musical director Kristin Hanggi.

If I’m wrong -- my sources have been 100 percent accurate to date -- I will promptly say “sorry” and give you the full 411 of the situation.

*Construction and plans are moving ahead for the arrival of the team from the late-night adult playground The Box in Manhattan to open at the Palazzo in October. However, some of the risque sexual acts and outfits in this bizarre “theater of the Varieties” will be tamed down here and given a new name, “The Act,” to comply with Gaming Control Board regulations.

*Expect the official confirmation of my exclusive of Tim McGraw and Faith Hill coming to the Strip with a mini-residency to be announced June 21.

*Expect Mike Tyson and Spike Lee to officially confirm their partnership for his one-man show “Undisputed Truth” to open in August after July previews on Broadway on June 18 in the theater in which he’ll perform.

COMME CA CHEF ON ‘CHOPPED’: Congrats to my pal chef Brian Howard from Comme Ca in The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas who tackles incredible cooking challenges on next week’s “Chopped” on the Food Network.

His “Sunny Side Apps” will air three times starting Thursday when he’s asked to transform gummy fried eggs into an appetizer with corned beef! There’s a sweet and sour surprise in the pantry to tackle the entree. Finally, in the dessert round, there’s fierce competition when they work with almond flour and knodel.

STREET DANCING CHALLENGE: The world’s best street dancers return to Las Vegas for the fifth consecutive USA & World Hip Hop Dance Championships. Former Mayor Oscar Goodman will welcome the defending champions at a promotional event June 21 at Fremont Street’s 3rd Street stage for the “Olympics of Hip Hop Dance.”

Forty nations will be represented from July 30-Aug. 5 as the dance teams go for the gold and $20,000. Despite the tough economy, this event has grown each year and packs its host hotel Red Rock Resort and its finals venue Orleans Arena.

30-YEAR MILESTONE: The Steak House at Circus Circus is celebrating its 30th anniversary this month, and to mark the milestone of meat, it is offering a $30 petite filet or prime rib dinner special through June.

Singer Joe Jonas, in town to judge the 2012 Miss USA Pageant at Planet Hollywood, and girlfriend Natasha Mently watched Cirque du Soleil’s “O” at the Bellagio, where they enjoyed popcorn and afterward stopped backstage to meet the cast. After co-hosting the 2012 Miss USA Pageant, Bravo’s Andy Cohen partied at The Beatles Revolution Lounge at the Mirage until 2:30 a.m. E!’s “Fashion Police” star George Kotsiopoulos, also a Miss USA judge, also was at Revo and spent most of the night dancing.

Miss USA Pageant winners Shanna Moakler, Alyssa Campanella and Tara Conner, “Peepshow’s” Josh Strickland, “Survivor Micronesia” winner Parvati Shallow and poker pro Vanessa Rousso partied post-Miss USA Pageant at The Bank in the Bellagio. “Dancing With the Stars: Live in Las Vegas” cast members watched “Vegas! The Show” at Saxe Theater in Planet Hollywood. And Jai Rodriguez, star of ABC’s new “Malibu Country” with Reba McEntire and Lily Tomlin, partied with Larry Edwards (Frank Marino’s “Divas Las Vegas”) and J.Son of at Piranha.

“Dancing With the Stars” Season 2 winner and 98 Degrees singer Drew Lachey returns to Bally’s to host “The Price Is Right Live” through June 17; rising rap and pop artist Wallpaper hosts and performs at LAX in the Luxor; kicking off the 2012 Electric Daisy Carnival, Steve Wynn’s Surrender features DJ Alesso nightly through Monday and headliners Afrojack, Steve Angello, Calvin Harris, Steve Aoki, Skrillex, Sebastian Ingrosso and The Affair with Thomas Gold; and restaurateur Frank Pellegrino Jr. has a book signing and cooking demo to promote his cookbook “Rao’s on the Grill” at Whole Foods in Fort Apache.
