Cosmopolitan announces summer concert series; plus, Beck and Luis Miguel

With a new week comes a slate of announcements of Las Vegas concerts to look forward to this summer.

The Cosmopolitan's Boulevard Social Club is offering a summer poolside concert series, Thursdays Live, to be held at Boulevard Pool on Thursday nights beginning May 17. The event features emerging bands and artists, several of whom, including White Denim and Elan Atias, have played popular sets at the Cosmopolitan in recent months. The series also will feature sets by resident local DJ M!keAttack.

Tickets for all performances go on sale Tuesday at 10 a.m. through Cosmopolitan’s website and Ticketmaster. Doors for all sets open at 7 p.m., with a set from DJ M!keAttack, followed by the evening’s headliner at 9.

The Pearl at the Palms announced today that alternative and indie rock icon Beck will perform at the venue Aug. 8 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $49 and go on sale Friday at noon via the Pearl box office and Ticketmaster. This tour will see Beck reunite with the classic full band lineup he performed with on his Mutations Tour.

Latin music legend Luis Miguel will perform at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace for a three-night run Sept. 13-15. The shows mark Miguel’s sixth consecutive year performing during Las Vegas Mexican Independence Day weekend. All shows begin at 9 p.m.; tickets are $95, $155, $185 and $250 and go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. via the Colosseum box office and Ticketmaster.
