With more than 130 country stars here for the 48th Academy of Country Music Awards and events, plus, 50 Hollywood and sports stars for Michael Jordan’s Celebrity Invitational golf fundraiser, you’d be wrong if you thought that was all.

The city is jam-packed with other stars such as comedians Whoopi Goldberg, George Lopez and David Spade. Or choose among Snoop Dogg’s Seven Deadly Sins at Tao in The Venetian or the dueling Bobby McFerrin and Clint Holmes shows at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts.

Please support our beloved charity Opportunity Village with its Celebrity Poker Tournament on Saturday at Caesars Palace with “All-Star Celebrity Apprentice” illusionist Penn Jillette and fiery Omarosa. There’s a headliner or a party for you such as the fourth-anniversary shindig for XS at Steve Wynn’s Encore and T-Pain’s House of Pain at Haze in Aria.

The main excitement for media will be the athletes at Shadow Creek golf course and the country kings and queens at multiple venues. NBA legend Michael leads on the greens, and the new hosting duo of Luke Bryan and Blake Shelton leads at the ACMAs. Former host Reba McEntire, who will introduce Garth Brooks and George Strait’s first-ever duet, promises to keep a tight reign on the self-described rowdy boys.

Check out our rundown of the 2013 ACMAs posted Thursday. Time now for us to go for the guitars, shine the sequins for the red carpet and hit a hole in one. Let’s grab a trophy from either event and play through at par with this week’s Royal Robin Rundown:
