Rumor becomes reality as five sexy topless female magicians star in the new show “Centerfolds of Magic” opening at the downtown Plaza on May 1. My friend 2009 Penthouse Pet of the Year beauty Taya Parker leads the incredible illusionists with comedian Joe Trammel.

Taya was last here starring in “Striptease: the Show” at the Sahara. She tweeted this morning that she wasn’t surprised that I had the news on Twitter before she called to tell me!

We’ll have a Q+A with her when she arrives here for rehearsals this weekend.

ROCK CAMP: Two Rock and Roll Hall of Fame legends host the latest Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp starting today through Sunday. Brian Wilson, co-founder of The Beach Boys, teams with eight-time Grammy-winning guitar guru Jeff Beck.

Brian is bringing four of his band members to teach students The Great American Songbook. Campers at MGM Grand and just off-Strip at Fantasy Camp headquarters end Sunday with a concert by Brian and then play themselves in a band with the star counselors.

UNDERWATER WEDDING: A romantic duo from Austria, Stephan and Andrea, have traveled to get married here today, but this will be no ordinary marriage. They’ve selected the Silverton Casino Lodge aquarium for the site.

They’ll wear SCUBA gear to swim among the sharks, stingrays and tropical fish to proclaim their love, with two of Silverton’s mermaids as the bridesmaids. Bride and groom will exchange vows wearing specially weighted gown and tuxedo, with the service broadcast into the tank via mic and speakers.

LINKS & LACE: More than 250 Girls of Golf and celebrity models will be on Revere Golf Club greens for three days of fun. Lingerie and pajamas are the preferred attire at The Bank in Bellagio and MGM Grand pool parties, plus, a Sirens and Sailors themed party. I’m guessing the wardrobe for the 18 holes will be less risque and more in keeping with the gentleman’s game! Details:

BROADCAST DUTIES: “Absinthe” balloon beauty Angel Porrino will kick off Season 2 of “The Will Edwards Show” on The CW (Cox Channel 12) on MyLV TV on Friday. Twenty8 is the musical guest.

The tables are turned when I sit for an hour live with “Robert & C.C.” on Hook Jaw Radio on Friday from PBR Rock Bar at Planet Hollywood. Tune in for all the latest gossip! Last week as part of Quincy Jones’ visit here for his joint 80th birthday celebration with Sir Michael Caine at MGM Grand Garden Arena, Robert & C.C. welcomed the five ladies from five countries who make up Blush that Quincy has produced and recorded.

Hope you got to see the 6 hours of National Geographic 1980s specials that aired over three nights this week on National Geographic. I had the good fortune to be featured all three nights along with stars who also believed the 1980s were the defining decade for the way we live today.

Who would have guessed my pal Carrot Top and I would be two of the four answers on an episode of ”Who Wants to Be a Millionaire”? Neither of us was the correct choice; that honor went to Richard Simmons.

MODELS FOR MUTTS: Please support a unique 4-hour party fashion show charity event Friday at the Land Rover showroom on West Sahara. Thirty gorgeous models have teamed up with top clothing designers to walk the runway with their adorable adoptable dogs to raise money for The Animal Foundation.

It was media mayhem Wednesday when boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. arrived in a Ferrari for his workout in preparation for his WBC World Welterweight Championship fight against Robert Guerrero at MGM Grand.

There was less of a scrum at the debut of the downtown Beatdown Industry Fight Night at The D Hotel on Wednesday night. Owner Derek Stevens welcomed UFC head honcho Dana White, boxing legends Roy Jones and Leon Spinks, wrestling icon Dallas Page and new D headliners The Scintas.

Best buddies actor Nicolas Cage and rocker Vince Neil, both of whom live here, watched “Million Dollar Quartet” at Harrah’s. The two tried on costumes and posed for photos with the cast. Vince flies out today to start a new Motley Crue tour on Saturday in Canada through May 4.

Lisa Vanderpump of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” and just eliminated from “Dancing With the Stars,” dined with husband Ken Todd at Andrea’s in Steve Wynn’s Encore on Wednesday night. Also at Andrea’s: Redfoo of LMFAO with his Le Freak crew before his DJ set at adjoining Surrender.

The preview weekend opening of Hakkasan at MGM Grand gets underway.

The champagne party Bubble-licious at The Venetian honors chef Thomas Keller and kicks off four days of the 39th annual UNLVino scholarship fundraising events.

Guitarist Esteban plays his “Music From the Heart” at Cabaret Jazz in The Smith Center for the Performing Arts for two nights.

Comic Andrew Dice Clay returns to Vinyl in The Hard Rock Hotel for four nights.

Spike and Mike’s Twisted Festival of Animation is at Vinyl afterward.

Hot Chip and Four Tet are at Boulevard Pool in The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.

British singer-songwriter Alex Clare is at Hard Rock Cafe on the Strip.

And singer-songwriter and pianist Spencer Day is at the House of Blues Foundation Room.

Tickets go on sale for the May 11 Rolling Stones concert at MGM Grand; will you shell out more than $2,100 per ticket for The Tongue Pit? That’s before scalpers! We have our regular Weekend Celebrity Preview with everybody from Bon Jovi to Kenny Chesney and The Postal Service to the 10th anniversary of Rehab.
