It’s official! After weeks of rumors since we shot our behind-the-scenes photo feature of the new “Fantasy” beauty’s calendar, gorgeous Las Vegas starlet Jaime Lynch has been named the new headliner of the adult show at the Luxor.
Here are photos of Jamie that will appear in the 2014 calendar being unveiled next month. Anita Mann, producer of “Fantasy,” said in a news release: “We have the most beautiful and talented women in Las Vegas. With Jaime as our new headliner, we look forward to introducing exciting new performances featuring our gorgeous dancers and new leading lady.”
Jaime has headlined and performed in many Las Vegas productions, including “Peepshow,” “Vegas! the Show!,” “iCandy Burlesque” and “The Sirens of T.I.” She also performed as the lead vocalist and emcee in the Pussycat Dolls Burlesque. Jaime, who has appeared on “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” Travel Channel’s “Passports to Great Weekends” and VH1’s “Celebrity Eye Candy,” was a finalist on Fox’s “The X Factor.”
“Fantasy,” celebrating its 13th year, features sexy, high-energy dance routines and comedian Sean E. Cooper. Said Jaime: “It’s a dream come true. I have always admired the show, and to be chosen as the lead singer is an honor. I am thrilled to be joining such an amazing group of performers.” Editor at Large John Katsilometes’s Q+A with Jamie was posted last Thursday.
WICKED WHISPERS & RACY RUMORS
Downtown business owners are delighted with the turnout and attention visitors and locals alike are giving the old and new Fremont Street attractions, but they are becoming increasingly unhappy with the pickup of underage drinking and its related actions.
“Things are ratcheting up to where they will be out of control if there isn’t a bigger police presence or businesses hire their own private security officers,” I was told. “There’s the beginnings of violence, and that has to be stopped before it gets worse — and serious.”
That situation will have to be dealt with before October’s planned opening of the new downtown Grand hotel carved out of the old Lady Luck hotel casino. The $100 million-plus renovation is said to include a year-round rooftop pool deck with bar and party space for daytime and nighttime festivities and shows.
