A slew of Strip stars are supporting this year’s 27th Annual Aid for AIDS of Nevada Black & White Party at the Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel on Aug. 24. It’s one of the biggest social events in Las Vegas and AFAN’s largest annual fundraiser.

TV anchor Chris Saldana hosts with radio personality Lauren Michaels and “The Amazing Race” and Chippendales at the Rio stars Jaymes Vaughan and James Davis. This year’s festivities include vocal impressionist Veronic DiCaire, who is headlining at Bally’s; “The D*Word: A Musical” cast members; and Britney Spears impersonator Derrick Barry of “Divas Las Vegas” at the Quad.

Also, the topless temptresses of “Fantasy” at Luxor; singer Maren Wade; Mark Shunock of “Rock of Ages” at the Venetian; the Quad headliners Recycled Percussion; the Skating Aratas from “V — The Ultimate Variety Show”; and acts from “Vegas! The Show.”

Additionally, there will be live painting, roaming characters, sword swallowers, hand magicians and impromptu performances by Nevada Ballet Theater. Rio headliner magicians Penn & Teller, who are sponsoring this year’s party and are longtime supporters of AFAN, also are expected to attend.
