It is seven months away, but the journey to Electric Daisy Carnival 2014 starts next Monday. That's the first chance for revelers to buy tickets for the three-day electronic dance music marathon from June 20-22 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

On Nov. 25, those who previously purchased passes through Flavorus online ticketing for any of the three Las Vegas-based EDCs can take part in the 24-hour Headliner Loyalty Program presale, which allows for one purchase per account holder of as many as four passes to next year's festival, starting at noon PST.

At noon Tuesday, that opportunity closes, confirmation emails go out, and sales don't open again until Monday, Dec. 2, when the more inclusive — but limited-supply — Early Owl Presale begins. (More details can be found at

Prices are $249 for regular passes and $499 for VIP (ages 21 and over) during the presale and will likely increase during the general sale, the dates of which have not been revealed. Last year's general sale began in January, with passes selling out by the end of April, before Insomniac Events even released the talent lineup.

Insomniac also revealed today that EDC Week, which includes ancillary events mostly held on the Strip, will take place from June 17-23 and will include an inaugural, previously announced dance music awards show to be produced by American Music Awards and Golden Globes producer Dick Clark Productions.
