The picturesque Palazzo Waterfall Atrium and Gardens’ fall display was unveiled Tuesday morning, and this year’s focus is on sustainability and being eco-minded and honors Sands Eco360, a program that drives the company’s environmental initiatives.

The exhibit of trees, flowers and plants reuses materials found on the property to reflect environmentally friendly programs. Highlights include the Infinity Pond (featuring moss, grasses and succulents); the Recycled Forest (construction debris, 70 percent recycled steel, bottles, wine corks and soaps); and the 1934 Hudson car centerpiece made of succulents, lichen, moss, grapevine and some 5,000 drought-resistant plants.

Also, solar panels displayed next to the car that represent renewable-energy initiatives; the East Garden Nano filtration system display that represents the properties’ water-reclamation system, which recycles 5 million gallons of nuisance water a year for horticulture; and the West Bed Chocolate Cosmo Flower display made of motion-censored flowers opening and closing in harmony.

The display is free and open to the public 24/7 through Nov. 10. Thanks to contributing photographer Tom Donoghue for his photo gallery.
