Luscious and leggy former “Peepshow” star Cheaza, who has been guest singing in the new “Jubilee” at Bally’s, is leaving Las Vegas for a yearlong tour of Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
“You never know if it’s the right move, but I love the challenge of change. I think the aspect of the challenge is what I need at this moment,” Cheaza told me moments after ending her run in “Jubilee” at Bally’s last week.
Cheaza, full name Cheaza Figueroa, will front her own band at a string of clubs in China. She will be based out of Shenzhen, China, but Hong Kong, Macau and Beijing also are on the tour schedule.
Entertainment booking execs from China had seen her starring as “Peep Diva” during Holly Madison’s three-year-plus run in “Peepshow” at Planet Hollywood and kept offering her a tour until she finally agreed that the timing was right.
“After six months in China, there’s a month apiece in Hawaii and Dubai and then four months in Europe,” she added. “So I’ll be away the full year. It’s a huge move, but I’m real happy about doing it. The car is going into storage.
“I’m really excited because I’ve never been to China. Thank goodness I love Chinese food!”
Effervescent Cheaza gets four days of rehearsals when she leaves Aug. 28 before her first nightclub concert Sept. 3. She’ll be working with a band of U.S. musicians who live there.
“It’s my music, but we’ll include Top 40 and some classics,” she said. “One week before I arrive, they are releasing my single ‘You’re Beautiful,’ so everybody will know who I am when I get there.
“It’s all a bittersweet moment. I’ve enjoyed my time with ‘Jubilee,’ but it’s time to move on. I had wonderful experiences with ‘Peepshow’ and all the other things I’ve done in Las Vegas.
“But it’s time to stretch my wings and see what happens out of this world tour. It’s really me on my own out front this time, so I’m nervous and excited — and it could change my life.”
Meantime, director Franco Dragone (“Le Reve — The Dream” at Wynn Las Vegas) has signed Cheaza’s friend Noelle Patricia, who danced with her in “Peepshow,” for his new spectacular production in Macau.
“I’m stepping off on a journey not knowing what the future might hold, but I will have a girlfriend in that part of the world for some support,” Cheaza laughed.

Catering to the young and modern crowd, Planet Hollywood is a one-stop shop for entertainment with its massive shopping mall, slew of restaurants, spacious casino and clubs.
The ambiance of the casino is retro-chic meets high-tech with black granite floors throughout and colorful LED lights throughout the space. The theme carries into the 100,000 square-foot casino with 250 flat screens topping off slot machines. The casino is also home to 87 tables, a sports book and a poker room.
There's also the Miracle Mile Shops, one Vegas' largest malls, with 140 stores including BCBG Max Azaria, bebe, Urban Outfitters and The Discovery Channel Store.
Following an afternoon of shopping, guests can satisfy their appetites at one of the gourmet restaurants in Planet Hollywood, like the non-traditional approach to steakhouses at Strip House or check out the exotic Far East motif at KOI restaurant and lounge. And if guests are still looking for more, they can spend the after hours at Privé, Triq or Krave nightclubs.
