Word from Hollywood this morning is that Spike TV is developing a dramatic series with Oscar-winning actor Kevin Spacey (“The Usual Suspects,” “American Beauty” and currently Netflix’s “House of Cards”) centered on the former feud between hotel moguls Steve Wynn and Donald Trump.

The battle was chronicled in the bestselling book “War at the Shore” by author Richard D. Bronson about the epic fight to save Atlantic City. Richard worked for Steve at one time as his Atlantic City point person.

The 1995-2000 battle between the new billionaires will run as a mini-series. The two gambling kingpins have subsequently patched up their differences.

Dana Brunettri, Kevin’s partner on “House of Cards” and “50 Shades of Grey,” will serve as his Trigger Street Productions executive producer. No word yet on which actors might be cast to play the two tycoons.
