Two of today’s hottest rappers spent their final hours of 2013 hosting, performing and partying in the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas.
2013 New Year’s Eve began with a concert in the Joint by Juicy J, founding member of Three 6 Mafia and music producer; his work includes the hit “Dark Horse” with Katy Perry.
The evening’s lineup included DJ Orator, Audio Push and Casey Veggies, and rapper and record producer Hit Boy also joined the group onstage.
Juicy J and his crew’s setlist included the fan-favorite hits “Bandz a Make Her Dance,” “23” (the hit with Miley Cyrus and producer Mike Will Made It), “Bounce It” and more before leading a midnight countdown to 2014. Boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. was among the sold-out crowd.
At nearby Body English Nightclub & Afterhours, DJ Franzen worked the turntables. Mike Will Made It started off hosting duties for the night with a countdown to the New Year and was later joined by Juicy J, who played host for his post-concert party.
At Vinyl, local cover band Empire Records hosted a party featuring hits by Britney Spears, TLC, The Backstreet Boys and The Spice Girls. The band led a champagne toast as the clock struck midnight.
Meantime, Juicy J hosts and performs at Tao in the Venetian on Thursday. Thanks to Scott Harrison of Erik Kabik Photography for his NYE photo gallery at the Hard Rock.

Though masculine in lines and furnishings, there are sensuous feminine touches to be found within Body English's black leather upholstered walls and oversized booths.
Guests walk down a long flight of stairs which leads to the main entrance of the club. The first focal point that catches the eye is a larger-than-life million dollar, color-changing crystal chandelier that hangs over the main dance floor, offering a touch of elegance while simultaneously offering just enough lighting to create an intimate ambiance.
Around the perimeter of the upstairs level are the main bar and a number of VIP godfather booths, ideal for elite groups. On the main dance floor, additional VIP booths made of elegant black leather circle the room, giving guests the best view of all the action. Complete with its own DJ booth, bar and waitress staff, the room known as The Parlor, which is adjacent to the main dance floor, also offers an intimate experience for separate parties.
