No, this wasn’t the 71st Golden Globe Awards, but TV journalist and personality Maria Menounos would’ve been among the best dressed on the red carpet at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s annual awards in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Menounos was an absolutely gorgeous and flawless vision in white from head to toe. In white! (Meantime, she worked Sunday night’s Golden Globes in a pink BCBG/Max Azria gown with strategically placed cutouts.)

The 2014 International Consumer Electronics Show wrapped up its annual weeklong visit to Las Vegas with a red carpet and party as Variety, the daily industry publication in Los Angeles, hosted the 2014 Breakthrough of the Year Awards on Thursday night at LVH recognizing achievements in film, music, comedy, television and technology.

Hosted by Nick Cannon, the awards’ honorees including Will Forte (Breakthrough Actor), Olivia Munn (Breakthrough Actress, wearing Victoria Beckham) and Kristen Bell (Breakthrough Film for “Veronica Mars,” wearing a Yigal Azrouel dress, Giuseppe Zanotti shoes, Jacquie Aiche jewelry and an Edie Parker purse).

Also honored: June Diane Raphael, Erica Oyama, Beth Dover, Ryan Hansen, Mike Rosenstein and Jon Sternof of “Burning Love” (Breakthrough Internet Sensation) and the cast of “Under the Dome” (Breakthrough Television).

The awards featured performances by honorees singers Janelle Monae (Breakthrough Music) and Skylar Grey (Breakthrough Music Newcomer) and comedienne Amy Schumer (Breakthrough Comedy).

2014 CES reportedly attracted more than 150,000 attendees and more than 3,000 exhibitors. Thanks to Scott Harrison of Retna for his photo gallery of the arrivals carpet at LVH.
