The handsome hunks of Showtime’s controversial reality-TV series “Gigolos” set in Las Vegas are back with tonight’s premiere of Season 5.

Producer Marklen Kennedy told me: “It’s been a labor of love for me that took a long time to get it to this point. We had to overcome so many hurdles, so I am very proud and thankful to the network, the production and to the city of Las Vegas for making my dream come alive.

“Five seasons are behind us, and we can only hope the sentiment is equaled in our love of making the show with those who watch. It’s a fantastic new season of ‘Gigolos,’ who excel in the business of doing pleasure with you — their labor of unbridled love. All women are beautiful to them, and they make great episodes of ‘Gigolos.’ ”

The sexy studs — Nick Hawk, Vin Armani, Brace Land, Ash Armand and Bradley Lords — celebrate the Season 5 premiere with a party downtown at Insert Coin(s) to prove that they have more tricks up their sleeves — and elsewhere! The show, episodes of which air repeatedly on Showtime, is a rare and uncensored look at the personal and professional lives of the five Las Vegas guys having fun getting girls and getting paid for it.

The controversial subject matter got the “Gigolos” star on Jay Leno and Conan O’Brien’s late-night TV talk shows. The “Gigolos” try to balance their own relationships, friends and family with the demands of their female clientele.

‘HORSEPLAYERS’ TV: TV cameras will film at Treasure Island for three days starting Friday during the National Thoroughbred Racing Association’s National Handicapping Champion, as Esquire Network is shooting its new reality-TV show “Horseplayers.”

In the show’s premiere episode, viewers are introduced to Matt Bernier, a Massachusetts realtor; Christina Hellmers, a regular at Del Mar racetrack; Michael Beychok, a political consultant from Louisiana; John Conte, a previous NHC winner; Kevin “The Brooklyn Cowboy” Cox, a retired NYPD mounted police officer; and Team Rotondo, comprised of a team of friends.

“Horseplayers” follows these high rollers and captures a behind-the-scenes look at how these bettors make decisions. In its 15th year, NHC is the wrap-up of a yearlong series of NTRA-sanctioned tournaments conducted by racetracks, casino racebooks, off-track betting facilities and horse racing and handicapping websites, each of which sends its top qualifiers to the national finals here.
