Gigolos Season 5 trailer
Gigolos on Conan O’Brien
The handsome hunks of Showtime’s controversial reality-TV series “Gigolos” set in Las Vegas are back with tonight’s premiere of Season 5.
Producer Marklen Kennedy told me: “It’s been a labor of love for me that took a long time to get it to this point. We had to overcome so many hurdles, so I am very proud and thankful to the network, the production and to the city of Las Vegas for making my dream come alive.
“Five seasons are behind us, and we can only hope the sentiment is equaled in our love of making the show with those who watch. It’s a fantastic new season of ‘Gigolos,’ who excel in the business of doing pleasure with you — their labor of unbridled love. All women are beautiful to them, and they make great episodes of ‘Gigolos.’ ”
The sexy studs — Nick Hawk, Vin Armani, Brace Land, Ash Armand and Bradley Lords — celebrate the Season 5 premiere with a party downtown at Insert Coin(s) to prove that they have more tricks up their sleeves — and elsewhere! The show, episodes of which air repeatedly on Showtime, is a rare and uncensored look at the personal and professional lives of the five Las Vegas guys having fun getting girls and getting paid for it.
The controversial subject matter got the “Gigolos” star on Jay Leno and Conan O’Brien’s late-night TV talk shows. The “Gigolos” try to balance their own relationships, friends and family with the demands of their female clientele.
‘HORSEPLAYERS’ TV: TV cameras will film at Treasure Island for three days starting Friday during the National Thoroughbred Racing Association’s National Handicapping Champion, as Esquire Network is shooting its new reality-TV show “Horseplayers.”
In the show’s premiere episode, viewers are introduced to Matt Bernier, a Massachusetts realtor; Christina Hellmers, a regular at Del Mar racetrack; Michael Beychok, a political consultant from Louisiana; John Conte, a previous NHC winner; Kevin “The Brooklyn Cowboy” Cox, a retired NYPD mounted police officer; and Team Rotondo, comprised of a team of friends.
“Horseplayers” follows these high rollers and captures a behind-the-scenes look at how these bettors make decisions. In its 15th year, NHC is the wrap-up of a yearlong series of NTRA-sanctioned tournaments conducted by racetracks, casino racebooks, off-track betting facilities and horse racing and handicapping websites, each of which sends its top qualifiers to the national finals here.

And Kenya hosts a welcome reception tonight at Body English in the Hard Rock Hotel.

Two of Jennifer’s pieces are in the permanent collection at the Smith Center for the Performing Arts, with one, a large painted heart sculpture, prominently displayed at the entrance. It raised $40,000 for our St. Jude Children’s Hospital and was gifted by a generous donor.
The first mini-camp for the new Las Vegas Sin girls of the gridiron is Saturday and Sunday mornings at Sunset Park conducted by new head coach Tui Suiaunoa, who led the three-peat world champion Los Angeles Temptation before moving here.
For the sixth consecutive year, our Las Vegas Motor Speedway is searching for a local singer to perform the national anthem to start the Boyd Gaming 300 NASCAR weekend race March 8. The audition is Feb. 8 at the Orleans, with the Top 24 competing to find one finalist Feb. 22.
Actress and singer Florence Henderson is saluted as Woman of the Year on Saturday night at Nevada Ballet Theater’s 30th Anniversary Black & White Ball in conjunction with her 80th birthday. Expect to see “The Brady Bunch” stars at the Aria gala, alongside Marie Osmond and Mitzi Gaynor.

Treasure Island, now known as TI to many, is a Strip casino and resort that features a tropical pool, a variety of restaurants and Las Vegas' first resident Cirque du Soleil show.
Before even entering the casino, Treasure Island treats visitors and Strip passersby with a raucous and free pirate show, "Sirens at TI," each evening in the lagoon in front of the property.
Inside, guests will find a 95,000-square-foot casino with thousands of slot machines, a race and sports book, a poker room and plenty of table games. Treasure Island boasts a variety of dining options, from unique barbecue at Gilley's, to Vietnamese at Pho, to Carribbean with flair at Kahunaville.
After dark, head over to Senor Frogs for nightlife "where anything can happen," or pick up tickets to the visually stunning "Mystere" by Cirque du Soleil.
Catering to the young and modern crowd, Planet Hollywood is a one-stop shop for entertainment with its massive shopping mall, slew of restaurants, spacious casino and clubs.
The ambiance of the casino is retro-chic meets high-tech with black granite floors throughout and colorful LED lights throughout the space. The theme carries into the 100,000 square-foot casino with 250 flat screens topping off slot machines. The casino is also home to 87 tables, a sports book and a poker room.
There's also the Miracle Mile Shops, one Vegas' largest malls, with 140 stores including BCBG Max Azaria, bebe, Urban Outfitters and The Discovery Channel Store.
Following an afternoon of shopping, guests can satisfy their appetites at one of the gourmet restaurants in Planet Hollywood, like the non-traditional approach to steakhouses at Strip House or check out the exotic Far East motif at KOI restaurant and lounge. And if guests are still looking for more, they can spend the after hours at Privé, Triq or Krave nightclubs.
Perhaps one of the resorts biggest attractions came in March with the addition of "Peepshow." The "Peepshow" stage has seen visiting celebs like Scary Spice Mel B, "Dancing with the Stars" Kelly Monaco and Playboy's Holly Madison.
