It’s an invitation one doesn’t turn down. Otherwise, it could be off with their heads!

Who knew Britain’s future king Prince Charles was a fan of Rio headliners Penn & Teller? The two magicians have accepted the Royal Family’s invitation to perform at Windsor Castle on June 23 for Charles’ charity trust on the day after their sold-out British tour ends.

I managed a sneak peek at the official invitation from Clarence House. Charles chose a magic theme for his dinner gala to celebrate his 40th year as a member of the Magic Circle. I’m an honorary member, too, from my London days but never knew he was involved and so much into magic.

It’s the third time that Penn & Teller have performed for the British Royals. They last performed for Charles at his Royal Albert Hall trust gala in 1996 alongside Eric Clapton, Barry Manilow, Dame Shirley Bassey and the late David Frost.

“We are deeply honored and look forward to closing out his grand night of dinner entertainment,” said Penn. His wife, Emily Jillette, is making the trip, too, and has been invited to play golf with the Duke of Woburn while there.

SYDNEY STRIPPERS: Vegas DeLuxe tipped the arrival of the sexy Sheilas from Down Under weeks ago, and Planet Hollywood made it official this morning with the news that “Sydney After Dark” will premiere Monday, July 7. The saucy, sassy and provocative 10-women burlesque is the brainchild of Aussie pop singer Belinda Chapple.

You can get your first look at the Melbourne minxes, topless temptresses from Tasmania and bare-chested beauties from Brisbane at Producer Adam Steck, who also imported Australia’s Thunder From Down Under and The Australian Bee Gees to Excalibur, said: “This hand-picked cast are the absolute best female performers Australia has to offer.

“They are stunning, glamorous, chic and sensual. A perfect blend of Victoria’s Secrets meets Moulin Rouge.” Pay special attention to lead singer and performer Natalie Conway, a Farrah Fawcett look-alike who promises to grab headlines upon arrival.

MINI BRITNEY LAWSUIT: Sparks are flying on the new Lifetime reality TV show “Little Women: L.A.,” and now Beacher’s Madhouse producer Jeff Beacher has added to the furor ordering a cease-and-desist against the TV creators to prevent them airing footage of Elena Gant performing as Mini Britney, as he owns the rights to the act.

Elena appears at his MGM Grand nightclub and also performs as Mini Miley and Mini Gaga. Elena was part of the cast there that celebrated its opening night Dec. 27.

‘AVATAR’ TO DEBUT HERE? The new partnership between Oscar-winning Hollywood director James Cameron and Cirque du Soleil will result in a touring arena show next year for those blue-skinned Na’vi characters from the 2009 film “Avatar” that is the highest-grossing film of all time.

The Cirque production will open next winter just before the three upcoming screen sequels, and it’s highly likely that the first stop on its American tour will be at Mandalay Bay Events Center before it moves on to Europe and Asia.

POKER FIND: Film and TV star Jennifer Tilly was at “Absinthe” in Caesars Palace and met with the cast afterward to share words of enthusiasm about their performances. But while mugging for photos, she dropped several expensive poker chips.

A $1,000 chip was promptly found and another $5,000 chip turned up the next day, and usher Brandon Ho turned it in to a very grateful Jennifer, who stopped by to pick it up and thank him personally. Jennifer promptly tweeted out her love of the show and its staff to her 24,000 followers.

FREEDOM FAMILY: This year’s annual July Freedom Fest conference will be opened by the first-ever father-daughter duo of Wayne and Dakota Root. The hometown Las Vegas act speaks at the opening ceremony July 9 before Steve Forbes and then Michael Medved. Wayne, who was the 2008 Libertarian vice-presidential nominee, also will be signing advance copies of his book “The Murder of the Middle Class” going on sale July 14.

Dakota is a home-school prodigy who just graduated magna cum laude from Harvard. Wayne appeared numerous times on CNBC on Monday for coverage about the SEC investigation into connections among golfer Phil Mickelson, Las Vegas golf club owner Billy Walters and business mogul Carl Icahn.
