If you’ve won the coveted Stanley Cup twice in the past three years, you’re entitled to party here and there and everywhere on the Strip, right?

Ice-hockey royalty the Los Angeles Kings did just that last week ahead of Tuesday’s 2014 NHL Awards at Encore Theater in Wynn Las Vegas by celebrating with the Stanley Cup at new restaurant Crush and new nightspot Beacher’s Madhouse, both at MGM Grand, and up the Strip at mega-club XS in Steve Wynn’s Encore.

Less than one week after their big win over the New York Rangers — they were victorious in the series 4-1, with two of the wins in overtime — the Kings were welcomed into the nightclub by light wands as they descended the stairs.

The teammates were escorted to a table centrally located and overlooking the dance floor as VIP hosts held signs proclaiming them C-H-A-M-P-S and confetti rained down.

Kings defensemen Jeff Schultz, Drew Doughty, Jake Muzzin and Alec Martinez (who scored the goal in OT in Game 5 for the victory), center men Jarret Stoll and Trevor Lewis, left wing Tanner Pearson and goaltender Martin Jones took turns showing off and proudly holding the shiny Stanley Cup above their heads for nighttime revelers to see.

Once settled into their booth, the champions popped a bottle of bubbly, poured it into the trophy and imbibed throughout the celebratory evening. The ice-hockey studs partied into the early hours while DJ Avicii kicked off XS’ 2014 Electric Daisy Carnival Weekend lineup.
