What a party this will be! The Academy of Country Music has signed on a slew of singers and a marathon of musicians led by Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts and Florida Georgia Line to christen the Linq for “The Week Vegas Goes Country.”
It’s the first big special event at the new open-air shopping, dining and entertainment district at the heart of the Strip in the shadows of the new High Roller observation wheel.
In all, there will be 22 hours of country music over two days with newcomers and chart veterans to benefit the charities ACM Lifting Lives and Outnumber Hunger.
This year, the 2nd Annual ACM Party for a Cause festival has become a two-day outdoor music festival in advance of the three-hour 49th Academy of Country Music Awards co-hosted by Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan and broadcast from MGM Grand Garden Arena on CBS on Sunday, April 6.
Rascal Flatts and Keith Urban headline Friday, April 4, and Saturday, April 5, respectively. The Linq will be transformed into a country music fan’s paradise featuring multiple stages, a country marketplace and interactive games, with more attractions being finalized in the next two weeks.
Rascal Flatts and Florida Georgia Line will headline the Friday concert for Outnumber Hunger, with performers Danielle Bradbery, Justin Moore, Cassadee Pope, Thomas Rhett and The Cadillac Three. Plus, Will Hoge, Chase Rice and Charlie Worsham will perform on the Party Stage.
Saturday’s line-up will be presented by ACM Lifting Lives and benefits several military philanthropies including Folds of Honor Foundation, Wounded Warrior Project, Navy SEAL Foundation, Team Rubicon and Nellis AFB Force Support Squadron.
The headliner will be Keith Urban and includes performances by Lee Brice, Brett Eldredge, Tyler Farr, Kip Moore, Joe Nichols, Jerrod Niemann, Chris Young, Love and Theft and Parmalee. Plus, Joel Crouse, Jon Pardi, Leah Turner, Austin Webb, Dan + Shay and Max Impact, the premier rock band of the United States Air Force, will perform on the Party Stage.
It will continue past midnight with ACM After Hours with Jerrod Niemann & Friends on the Party Stage featuring performances by Tyler Farr, Jerrod Niemann, American Young, Natalie Stovall and The Drive, The Swon Brothers and more.
Ticket passes for the full two days are set at just $65 and can be purchased as of today at Ticketmaster.com. I’m getting my red Solo cup ready for the fun!
