Actor and “Extra” host Mario Lopez hosted a wild Cinco de Mayo party at Hyde Bellagio to kick off the month. The health-conscious heartthrob (is that a cigar in his hand?) arrived at the nightspot just after midnight with close friends and his wife, Courtney Mazza Lopez.
Lopez, in a dark gray long-sleeved T-shirt and gray jeans, posed for photographs on the red carpet and stopped to take selfies with fans before heading inside. He tweeted a photograph from the red carpet with his sweetheart, saying, “Time to host a Cinco de Mayo party @HydeBellagio with @CourtneyMLopez! #Vegas.”
Once inside, the group walked to their VIP booth overlooking the dance floor, where Hyde’s performance artists donning sombreros and shaking maracas for the Cinco de Mayo fiesta welcomed them.
The DJ announced, “Your host for the evening is in the building — the one and only Mario Lopez!” as the sexy senoritas held up signs spelling out “M-A-R-I-O.” Lopez mingled and snapped photographs with fans, including a bride-to-be.
Later in the night, Hyde’s life-size “Ted” made a visit to the guest of honor sporting a sombrero. Good sport Lopez danced alongside the giant bear and posed for a photograph.
The group danced to the sounds of DJ Skratchy and enjoyed cocktails until the early hours of the morning.
