Jones and Cormier
Still feeling hung over or at best simply sluggish from all the parties and champagne shows that ran into the dawn hours Thursday? Well you’re getting a chance to fully recover this weekend with a quieter-than-normal entertainment schedule.
However, if Octagon fighting, a music superstar and/or gorgeous topless temptresses will give you the right wakeup call, we’ve got the awesome antidotes to start 2015 with a knockout punch.
One of the most eagerly awaited light-heavyweight fights in UFC history is set for Saturday with UFC 182 at MGM Grand Garden Arena. Jon “Bones” Jones will defend his title against the rugged rapier Daniel Cormier, and this brutal brouhaha could be the fiercest MMA fight of all time. Neither man is going to look pretty by the time one is declared the winner.
Check out the YouTube video countdown of the two totally tough athletes that led to what will be one ugly epic battle.
If you want a gentler touch, how better to end the weekend and roll into the start of the huge Consumer Electronics Show with beautiful topless dancers and voluptuous singer Gabriella Versace. Bombshell brunette Jennifer Romas premieres her first produced show “Sexxy” at Westgate’s Shimmer Theater on Sunday. As the lead star, she promises incredible dancing and an interactive experience for the audience.
Music continues to rock on these early days of the New Year with Justin Timberlake filming the end of his “The 20/20 Experience Tour” for director Jonathan Demme at MGM Grand and The Roots blasting away at Brooklyn Bowl in the Linq Promenade.
The Weeknd keeps going at Drai’s Nightclub atop the Cromwell, and check out former “Fantasy” at the Luxor lead singer Stephanie Sanchez as she debuts her vocal show at Tuscany. And John Legend will probably have his supermodel wife Chrissy Teigen on his arm for his appearance at Foxtail in SLS Las Vegas.
If you want to keep the New Year’s party going strong, we’ve got some fascinating choices for you to select from in the first Royal Robin Rundown of 2015:
