Dead & Company — Grateful Dead members Bob Weir on rhythm guitar and vocals and Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann on drums; John Mayer on lead guitar and vocals; Oteil Burbridge on bass guitar; and Jeff Chimenti on keyboards — spent Thanksgiving Weekend in The Entertainment Capital of the World performing two concerts Friday and Saturday evenings at MGM Grand Garden Arena.
Thanks to Erik Kabik for his photo gallery of Dead & Company at MGM Grand. While in Las Vegas, Grammy Award-winning Mayer enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner at Bazaar Meat by Jose Andres at SLS Las Vegas.
Dining with three friends, the group feasted on the Thanksgiving menu, which featured Mary’s Farm Turkey served with green bean casserole, Delmonico potatoes, botifarra and cornbread stuffing, spiced cranberries and more.
Please check back for a review of Saturday night’s second concert.
