Fans of pop princess Britney Spears around the world can breathe a collective sigh of relief today that she’s finally decided on her new single. I can reliably confirm that it will be titled, “Make Me (Oooh).”

Britney will shoot the video for her new single next Monday, and both will be released four weeks later when editing is completed. I was told, “The concept for the video is all set.

“The single and the video will thrill fans because it’s all new, totally different and somewhat unexpected. It’s different; it’s a turn. She's gone from pretty straight-forward pop to a really interesting vibe with a lot of really cool stuff."

If all goes as planned, Britney’s new ninth studio album will follow one month after the single’s release. Britney has said: “I just know that the direction I’m going in is so good. It’s the best thing I’ve done in a long time.

“I’m just particular with this record — it’s my baby. I’m proud of the work, and it’s very different. It’s not what you would think at all. I’m not rushing anything. I would much rather have it be completely how I want it to be. I just want it to be done right so that my fans will truly appreciate it.”

Meantime, British tabloid reports that she will appear in a London Palladium “Cinderella” show in the British capital for five weeks over Christmas are being officially denied by her team.

“It’s simply not happening, and we haven’t even been approached with an offer,” I was told. Britney is expected to continue her hit residency “Britney: Piece of Me” at Axis at Planet Hollywood over Christmas and New Year’s as she did last year.

“Piece of Me” continues to sell out performance dates. “It’s stronger than ever at the box office,” I was told by Caesars Entertainment officials. “She added all the new costumes of her show this past week.

“They are the hottest, most colorful, most bejeweled outfits you’ve ever seen on a Las Vegas stage. If you thought they were sexy before this, then these are overdrive maximum sexy.”

In my Q+A with Britney posted Feb. 12, she told me: “The new costumes designed for each act are fabulous.” Her revamped wardrobe is hotter and sexier than ever.

Her new, incredible physique that she showed off while vacationing with her sons in Hawaii over Easter is on full display in the new bodysuit wardrobe designed with her stylist Soyon An:

“It’s the sexiest she’s ever worn with a lot more skin showing. They are hotter, sexier showing more leg, more cleavage and more midriff. We’re using lots more stones and crystals.”

The leotards and shimmering bodysuits include large, sparkling jewels attached to transparent netting fabric over her stomach to maximum effect showcasing her cleavage.

Her thigh-high boots are in black-and-white leather, and a red lingerie bra and boy shorts are worn with a diamond-encrusted belt. One pair of green briefs over her fishnets is emblazoned with the word “kisses” on it.

Britney’s new single “Make Me (Oooh)” will be added to “Piece of Me” at Axis when the next segment of her residency resumes June 17. Her current run wraps April 22.
