It’s the premiere tonight of E! Entertainment’s “Famously Single” with hometown DJ Pauly D and girlfriend singer Aubrey O’Day (Danity Kane, “Peepshow”).
The social-experiment reality-TV series hosted by relationship expert Dr. Darcy Sterling matches Pauly and Aubrey, and they unexpectedly fall in love.
At their first meeting, Aubrey showed no interest in Pauly on a speed-dating exercise, describing him as “a man without a lot of substance.” She put Pauly on the spot by asking about his sexual history since his previous relationship.
“How many girls have you slept with since then?” she asked. When he remains silent, she prods him further: “Can you give me a rough estimate?”
RISING STARS: Millions have voted, and the Top Five Macy’s iHeartRadio Rising Stars have been chosen. Our Las Vegas rising pop and R&B sensation After Romeo defeated 20 talented hopefuls and is now a finalist in iHeart’s Rising Star Contest.
In celebration of the news, Jayk Purdy and Drew Ryan Scott will return here to their hometown for a performance with bandmates T.C. Carter and Blake English.
The performance is Saturday at Fashion Show ahead of the announcement July 6 of who wins a spot at the 2016 iHeartRadio Music Festival at Las Vegas Village on Sept. 24 on TNT and TBS for the first time.
After Romeo, coined the “next One Direction” by People magazine, will perform a 30-minute set featuring songs from upcoming EP “Good Things”, out June 24, followed by a meet-and-greet.
BAND BREAK: Every day, KNPR’s “State of Nevada” features music used during program breaks. After getting emails from listeners asking what the song they heard on “SoN” was, coordinating producer Casey Morell decided to start tweeting the names of the artists.
Now he wants you to be one of the acts. All summer, the show is hunting for local bands and musicians to provide “SoN” break music. Las Vegas mainstays Avalon Landing and Mercy Music have already taken part. Why haven’t you?
For more information, email Casey at [email protected] Once he gives you the 411, hopefully you’ll be up next to fill station breaks with great local music.

Singing Miguel surprised XS partygoers in Steve Wynn’s Encore on Monday night by joining DJ RL Grime onstage for a surprise performance of “Adorn.” Miguel’s fiancee Nazanin Mandi was the first to lead the cheers.
On Saturday, T-Pain and actor and comedian Bob Saget(!) went onstage with DJ Dillon Francis to spin the wheels of steel. Bob, of “Full House” fame, and his girlfriend, Kelly, also attended “Absinthe” at Caesars Palace and posed for photographs with The Gazillionaire and Melody Sweets.
Singer Ciara, tennis ace Serena Williams and singer Kelly Rowland enjoyed a high-style girls getaway weekend at Wynn Las Vegas and kicked it off at “Le Reve — The Dream.” The next afternoon, they took over a bungalow at Encore Beach Club overlooking the pool-party action and a set by DJ Zedd.
Their bungalow was adjacent to Brazilian soccer star Neymar’s bungalow, and their sports worlds collided when Serena was introduced to Neymar. Neymar’s group grew from 12 to 30 when he sprayed them all with a magnum of champagne. Ciara wore a white swimsuit, denim shorts and black-leather, ankle-zip gladiator sandals, while most of her friends wore black, except Kelly, who radiated in a floral print one-piece.
The girls dined at Lakeside overlooking the Lake of Dreams. They dined family-style enjoying executive chef David Walzog’s Maryland crab cakes, filet mignon, Atlantic salmon, grilled asparagus and glazed vegetables and desserts. Neymar returned the next day after dinner at Andrea’s to Surrender, where he joined producer and DJ Kaskade onstage.
Singer and actress Christina Milian performed at Go Pool at Flamingo. Shortly after arriving, she hopped on the mic center stage to treat partygoers to her hits “Like Me,” “Say I” and “Dip It Low.” The Grammy-nominated artist hung out in a cabana near the DJ booth with friends in between performing and talking with fans.
Hollywood gossip guru Perez Hilton enjoyed dinner at the new Beauty & Essex in the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and raved on Twitter about the mac and cheese. Also having dinner at separate tables: comedian Pauly Shore and Vinny Guadagnino (“Jersey Shore”).
Julius Randle (L.A. Lakers), Devin Booker (Phoenix Suns) and Victor Oladipo (Orlando Magic) attended Mike Tyson’s “Undisputed Truth” at Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club in MGM Grand. After the show, the trio joined the heavyweight champ onstage for photographs.
