Great news to report today: Luxor headliner magician Criss Angel’s 2-year-old son Johnny is in remission after tough cancer treatments, and Criss believes that he will eventually be healed. This is a miracle — not magic!

Criss has been shuttling back and forth to Australia since October when the little boy began his battle against acute lymphoblastic leukemia. The medical treatment may have to continue for another five years.

But it will permit Johnny’s mother, Australian model Shaunyl Benson, to travel with him to Las Vegas for the Sept. 12 Help Every Life Possible charity event where Criss plans to raise $1 million for the Johnny Crisstopher Children’s Charitable Foundation for research and treatment of pediatric cancer.

“It’s the most important event of my life,” said Criss, who has commitments from Wayne Newton, Jerry Lewis, Blue Man Group, Cirque du Soleil casts and others to perform at the fundraiser.

Meantime, Criss is preparing the star-studded premiere of his “Mindfreak Live!” on June 30 at the Luxor.
