If you want electronic dance music this weekend, plan on getting out of town — well, at least 16 miles off the Strip. It seems as if for the next three days starting at sunset today through sunrise Monday that the EDM world — more than 400,000 total — will be headquartered at our Las Vegas Motor Speedway for the 20th anniversary Electric Daisy Carnival and sixth consecutive festival here.

Use Uber (as much as $1,000 round trip) or Maverick Helicopters ($5,000 for round-trip private charter) to avoid the usual bumper-to-bumper crush.

Tiesto and girlfriend of 14 months Annika Backes kicked it off Thursday with the premiere of his “A Town Called Paradise” on Viva Vision video screens spanning five football fields across Fremont Street Experience. The 7-minute video plays at 9 p.m. and midnight throughout EDC Weekend and thereafter nightly at midnight.

Vegas DeLuxe has already posted the Royal Robin Rundown for EDC events along with other stories of the weekend. Many of the 300+ DJs performing on the eight sprawling stages also pick up extra paychecks with day-and-night appearances at our clubs to keep the party going. You’ll find that list below of EDM that never stops.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there. May your kids be kind and good. May they show you the love you showed your dad and be grateful for all you still do for them.

Remember that the Friday concert with Slipknot and Marilyn Manson at MGM Grand Garden Arena has been postponed and rescheduled for Sunday, Aug. 21, due to unplanned surgery for Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor. We wish him a speedy recovery.

Good-health wishes also go to my pal and former Planet Hollywood headliner Meat Loaf, who collapsed Thursday night onstage during a concert in Edmonton Alberta. He has told me that he has to deal with asthmatic problems and an irregular heartbeat.

The biggest Strip headliner events are with Steely Dan and Steve Winwood at Caesars Palace and WWE “Money in the Bank” for Smackdown and Raw at T-Mobile Arena with WWE Divas and stars including Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, Bray Wyatt and The Wyatt Family, Dolph Ziggler, Kevin Owens and Alberto Del Rio.

Caesars today kicks off its “Summer of Caesars 50th Anniversary.” The big weekend is an Aug. 5 and 6 gala coinciding with the opening date in 1966. Only one employee, Jim Dunbar, remains from Day 1, while four others are still there from the first year: Pamela Price, Pete George, Benny Figgins and John O’Connell.

They will unveil the Caesars and Cleopatra historical walking tour and photo exhibit of highlights through five decades. Caesars execs plan an Independence Day Weekend block party with fireworks July 3.

Chef Bryan Ogden opens his culinary theater in the round at Mixx Grill and Lounge on the site of the former Gordon Biersch Brewery in Boca Park. Bryan, who worked with his father, Bradley Ogden, at Caesars will be center stage cooking in an open kitchen.

The global menu promises a French influence on South Pacific and Asian seafood. I’ve always gone gaga for Bryan’s cooking skills, and I’ve no doubt that he will thrill again.

If you’re an NHL fanatic, ice hockey’s top trophies go on display Saturday at the Hard Rock Hotel through Tuesday, when they are moved to Wynn Las Vegas for Wednesday’s 2016 NHL Awards hosted by Will Arnett.

Shortly before 1 p.m. Wednesday, NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman will face the media about a proposed Las Vegas expansion team at T-Mobile for the 2017-18 season.

And let’s not forget that pop princess Britney Spears plays bridesmaid at her best friend’s wedding here. So with 400,000 EDC fans gearing up with outrageous outfits, let’s not waste any more time in spinning our own setlist of hits that we affectionately title each week the Royal Robin Rundown:
