What a Wicked Whisper & Racy Rumor we have this first workday after Memorial Day Weekend!

As the new, 5,000-seat theater at Monte Carlo nears the final stage of construction and interior decoration, buzz has begun as to which stars will headline there.

One rumor that began circulating over the weekend was that first discussions have started about Justin Timberlake agreeing to a residency there.

I’m told that the story leaked from a solid source close to the involved parties. I can’t confirm it, yet, but it’s a great name to bandy about as gossip as the short list of stars to target is developed.

There also has been talk of Vince Neil now that he’s solo and away from Motley Crue appearing with his new band on a resident basis.

We’ll keep you posted, but it would be delicious if Justin, one-time and long-ago boyfriend of Britney Spears, was on the Strip at the same time as the pop princess, whose hit “Britney: Piece of Me” is at nearby Axis at Planet Hollywood.
