A man was critically injured Wednesday when he lost control of a motorcycle and hit a raised median, according to Metro Police.
The crash was reported about 10:40 p.m. on Hacienda Avenue, west of Decatur Boulevard, police said.
The rider, a 35-year-old Las Vegas man, was thrown from the motorcycle after hitting the median and struck a street sign post, police said. He was taken to University Medical Center, police said.
The crash remains under investigation, police said.
