“Iron Chef” Masaharu Morimoto will introduce his ramen restaurant Momosan Ramen & Sake in Las Vegas through a series of pop-up dinners Jan. 23 to 26 at his self-named restaurant at the MGM Grand.
The a la carte menu will be available only in the Morimoto Las Vegas lounge, according to a news release. Momosan, a nickname of Morimoto, debuted in New York City in 2016.
“Momosan pays homage to my childhood in Hiroshima, where I developed an early love of noodles,” Morimoto said in a statement. “While ramen is our focus, we also feature a variety of other traditional and contemporary Japanese-inspired comfort foods. I’m honored to share one of my favorite and most personal culinary projects with MGM Grand’s guests and visitors.”
The pop-up dining experiences will be available beginning at 4 p.m. on the select dates. For more information or to make reservations, visit MGM Grand online.
Besides New York, Momosan Ramen & Sake is in Honolulu, with a third location opening this summer in Seattle.
Since 1998, Morimoto has competed on the Japanese television show “Iron Chef” and also appears on the Food Network’s “Iron Chef America.”
