Two-Cent Beer Night

Beauty Bar’s Nickel Beer Night has received a challenge from the University District in the bargain-bash sweepstakes. Dive Bar’s relatively new Thursday promo advertises live bands, a DJ (The Creeps) warning of loud music, drink specials (especially the titular one, courtesy of Pabst Blue Ribbon) and “loose women,” likely thanks to the two-penny PBRs and other drink deals afforded to the fairer sex. Being cheap never sounded so fun. Thursdays, 9 p.m., free entry.
