The Spring Valley High basketball team has three starters who averaged double-digit points last season in James Webster (13 points per game), A’Mari James (11 ppg) and Michael Martin (10). They’ll need the offense in the competitive Southwest League, where defending state champion Bishop Gorman, Durango, Silverado and Desert Oasis are each formidable opponents.
