Fire caused extensive damage this morning to a vacant downtown building, Las Vegas Fire & Rescue officials said.
Nobody was injured, and the cause of the blaze was under investigation, officials said.
Multiple people reported the fire about 12:35 a.m. at the building in the 300 block of Main Street, officials said. When firefighters arrived, heavy flames were coming from the top floor of the two-story building and extended to the roof, officials said.
It took firefighters about 45 minutes to put out the blaze, officials said. A damage estimate was not available.
