Officers responding to a disturbance call at a sports bar early today shot and wounded a man armed with a knife, according to Henderson Police.
Officers were dispatched about 6:30 a.m. to the bar in the 600 block of South Boulder Highway, near Major Avenue, police said. The man was shot after he produced a knife, police said. It was not clear if one or more officers fired their weapons.
The man was taken to a hospital and was in stable condition, police said. No officers were injured.
Police provided few other details.
The incident resulted in the sixth officer-involved shooting in Henderson this year.
