A 73-year-old Pahrump man was killed Monday night in a single-car rollover crash in the southwest valley, according to Metro Police.
The crash happened about 7:55 p.m. on Buffalo Drive, north of Torino Avenue, police said. The car was headed south on Buffalo at a high rate of speed when it ran off the road into the desert and rolled over multiple times, police said.
The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the car and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. His name was not released, pending notification of family.
The crash remains under investigation, police said.
