Two men have been injured after a vessel explosion at Las Vegas Boat Harbor on Lake Mead, according to authorities.
Nevada Department of Wildlife officials said a 30-foot vessel that had just finished refueling pushed away from the boat launch and exploded about 2:30 p.m. Saturday.
State game wardens and trainees provided aid to the injured men, some of whom suffered smoke inhalation.
One of the injured was rushed to a trauma center while other was taken to a hospital.
The names, ages and hometowns of the men weren’t immediately released.
Authorities say two wardens and one warden trainee were taken to hospitals for treatment of smoke inhalation.
