Condominium fire near downtown Las Vegas under investigation

Three people were displaced by a condominium fire late Sunday, but nobody was injured, and the cause of the blaze was under investigation, Las Vegas Fire & Rescue officials said.

The fire was reported about 11:30 p.m. at the complex in the 1700 block of Bonanza Road near downtown Las Vegas. The fire, which took about 10 minutes to put out, was confined to a bedroom in a second-story unit, official said.

As a precaution, other condominiums in the building were evacuation, but no other units were damaged, officials said.

An adult and two children were displaced by the fire and were planning to stay with friends, officials said.
