Shooting investigated after Las Vegas-area prep football game

Shots were fired Friday after a football game at Desert Oasis High School, though no injuries were reported, police said.

Metro Police said a fight broke out in the parking lot of the school after the conclusion of the game. During the altercation, a suspect fired multiple gunshots into the air and immediately fled the area.

No victims were reported and police said the area was immediately secured. A description of the suspect was not given.

Metro and Clark County School District Police responded to the scene.
