A Henderson resident was wounded today in an exchange of gunfire during a home invasion, police said.
The shooting was reported about 3 a.m. at a home in the 400 block of Tranquil Peak Court, Henderson Police said. The victim was taken to a hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries, police said.
Two males forced their way into the home and were confronted by the victim, which resulted in an exchange of gunfire, police said. The suspects fled the scene, police said.
Investigators believe the incident was targeted, and the investigation is s ongoing, police said.
