Las Vegas police: Boy, 15, fatally shot during drug sale

A 15-year-old boy was fatally shot Wednesday night during a drug sale in the northeast valley, according to Metro police.

The shooting occurred about 8:40 p.m. in the 3900 block of Nellis Boulevard when the teen arrived in a vehicle to purchase unspecified narcotics, police said. Armed individuals approached the boy’s vehicle and fired into it, police said. No information was released about possible suspects.

The teen was taken to University Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead, police said. The shooting was under investigation, police said.
