The S&P Case/Shiller Home Price composite index of 20 key markets shows that home prices plunged nationally 10.7% over the last 12 months, according to a CNNMoney.com report. Las Vegas and Miami were hardest hit among 20 metropolitan areas, with each seeing home prices drop 19.3 percent in a one-year period through January 2008, according to a CNN chart.
