Mir and Lesnar already pulling verbal punches

The fight is still months away, but UFC heavyweight champs Frank Mir and Brock Lesnar already are trading punches — at least of the verbal variety.

Mir, the interim champ, said the former WWE standout Lesnar punched like his sister in their first fight.

"Most of my partners who are 190 to 210 (pounds) actually hit harder," Mir said, saying in their first bout in February was "kind of like having your baby sister on your back and all over you, and you're just saying, 'Get off me.'"

Lesnar laughed at the remarks and questioned if Mir's leg injury, which pushed the fight back from its original May date, was legit.

"In my mind, is Frank really hurt, or is he just scared?" Lesnar said. "I think he understands the position I had him in, in our first fight, and I don't think it's going to change much in the second one, with a different outcome for sure."
