Henderson Councilman Steve Kirk, leaving because of term limits, has a robocall obliquely going after ex-Police Chief Mike Mayberry, who wants his seat. Another example of how public employees -- or former public employees -- have become ripe targets. Kirk has endorsed planning commissioner Sam Bateman.
