As if next weekend wasn’t already the hottest event in UFC history, the first-ever Fan Expo just turned up the temperature considerably. The UFC and Maxim magazine announced today that they would name a winner in the first-ever Maxim/UFC Octagon Girl contest on the expo’s second day, Saturday, July 11.

HBO announces ‘Mayweather/Marquez 24/7’ back on
The fight is back on, and so too is the hype. HBO Sports announced today that Mayweather/Marquez 24/7 is set to air Saturday Aug. 29. The four-episode, all-access series spotlights the irrepressible superstar Floyd Mayweather’s return to boxing in a year and a half against the highly respected Mexican fighter Juan Manuel Marquez.

UFC programs to air in China
The UFC announced early Monday morning it has finalized a deal with Inner Mongolia Television to bring the UFC to television in China. Known as NMTV, Inner Mongolia Television is a network broadcast station available in 80 million households.
