Here’s the latest installment of the Play of the Day, which uses odds from the South Point. Our three sports writers started with a $10,000 bankroll — fictional, of course.

Cincinnati Reds minus-130 at Milwaukee Brewers: $520 to win $400 There is great value in betting the Cincinnati Reds today against an awful Milwaukee team. Reds starter Johnny Cueto is one of the top five starters in the National League. Milwaukee has struggled out of the gates this season with a 2-12 record and is one of baseball’s worst offensive teams.

Cincinnati scored 16 runs Tuesday in handing the Brewers another loss, leading to speculation that manager Ron Roenicke could soon be out of a job. Betting baseball is all about streaks — Milwaukee is trending in the wrong direction. That won’t change against Cueto.
