Vegas Play of the Day: Chicago White Sox at Los Angeles Angels

Chicago White Sox plus-133 at Los Angeles Angels: $400 to win $532

Less than a week ago, these teams met for a series in Chicago that the White Sox swept. Chicago’s Carlos Rodon turned in an absolute gem in the second game, striking out 11 over seven scoreless innings, and in the third game the Angels’ Andrew Heaney was solid but not good enough, giving up two earned in 5 2/3 innings.

Tonight those two meet in Los Angeles, and the White Sox are getting an enticing underdog number for a squad fresh off a sweep against the same opponent. Rodon’s more likely to blow up, but the potential to be great is always there with him, so for that price I’ll take a chance.
