Utah State plus-3 vs. Colorado State: $550 to win $500 Colorado State has been one of the best teams in the Mountain West this season, but the regular season finale today at Utah State has nothing to do with the standings or which team has the better players.
This is Utah State coach Stew Morrill’s final home game as the Aggies coach, ending a highly successful 16-year run. More than 50 former players are expected to attend for a halftime tribute. It will be a soldout crowd. They will be loud.
It’s difficult to win on the road in the Mountain West. That task seems impossible today for Colorado State because of the rowdy Utah State supporters cheering for Morrill to get a final victory at the Smith Spectrum.
Utah State (18-11) is playing its best basketball at the end of the season. They had a six-game winning streak snapped early in the week, but are still a respectable 11-6 in league games.
